Why should a refrigerant filter drier be added to the configuration of the technical file?
Protect!
There is a physical adsorbent in the filter, because there may be a very small amount of moisture in the refrigerant, and there should not be a little moisture in the expansion valve, otherwise it is easy to be blocked by ice.
When the compressor needs to be replaced, or the evaporator or condenser leaks, if there is any leakage, the refrigerant drying filter must be replaced.
But many people will wonder, where does the water in the refrigerant come from?
Why might refrigerant contain moisture?
First, the moisture of the air enters the refrigerant
The manufacturer did not exhaust the air in the dryer before charging the refrigerant, and the inside of the dryer was not in a vacuum state, causing the air to be mixed into the refrigerant.
Refrigerant may be added several times before use, which can cause air to run into the pipes.
2. Leaks allow moisture to enter the refrigerant
If the condenser leaks, the cooling water will enter the pipeline and participate in the process.
Evaporator is the same.
The result of moisture entering the cold dryer pipeline is shutdown. It is the top priority to eliminate all moisture before the expansion valve. The refrigerant filter can solve this problem very well.
